Since the conception of the “Lo IQ?” project in 2010, it’s been destined for great things. Lo IQ? has an unique style of producing and DJing, which can be best described as big room Breakbeats. In 2010 Lo IQ? came storming out of the gates with original releases and remixes on labels such as DJ Icey’s world renown Zone Records and famed UK Label Ground Level Records, which all have reached top tier positions on the top 100 Beatport chart. In early June 2013 Lo IQ? was named #15 on Billboard's Next Big Sound Chart, Reinforcing that Lo IQ?'s sound is headed in the right direction. Recently in July 2013 Lo IQ?'s velocity shows no sign of slowing down and had a big month, first releasing a track on Breakz R Boss "Around The World" which rocketed to #2 on the charts only to be followed by 2 other releases to also reach the top ten that month, one being another original "Gettin' Right To It" on Zone Records.

His influences come from all aspects of music, and he always brings the funk with him, which you can hear in the four record labels that he runs - Barely Legal, Cable, Southern Vice, and Cylon Dub Receptor.

With their recent #1 "Spanish Montana"
The Gulf Gate Project : Toast & Jam Recordings

The Gulf Gate Project is electronic music production duo Scott and Sheldon Gau. Growing up in the Sarasota, FL area, the Gau brothers were influenced early on by the Florida breakbeat scene of the late 90's and early 2000's. In 2008, Scott and Sheldon began releasing tracks under the name The Gulf Gate Project on their own label, Toast & Jam Recordings. In 2010, Toast & Jam had a breakout hit with The Gulf Gate Project – Beezy (Electric Soulside Remix). With support from Crystal Method’s Cummunity Service radio show and BT’s Laptop Symphony radio show, 'Beezy' rocketed #1 on the Beatport breaks chart for 6 weeks, earning it a top 10 nomination for breaks track of the year in 2011 as well as a Breakspoll nomination.

After several more top 20 breaks hits, The Gulf Gate Project relocated to the San Francisco bay area in June of 2013. Since moving to San Francisco last year, Scott and Sheldon have kicked production into high gear with several more top 20 releases, including their most recent release ‘Spanish Montana.’ ‘Spanish Montana’ went #1 on the Beatport Breaks Top 100 chart and held that position for 4 weeks. Supported by the likes of Lady Waks, BreaksMafia, and other breakbeat notables, ‘Spanish Montana’ has propelled The Gulf Gate project into the breakbeat limelight. The Gulf Gate Project is currently in the studio working on their next release, as well as their two man live show, which will be hitting the road this fall.

DJ Loomer : The Cruz Coalition
Not so long ago, DJ Loomer began direct pursuit of his true passion – music as a force for change. Producing original tracks and performing intricately layered breakbeat and dirty electro house sets with Ableton Live, Loomer weaves together complex melodies, uplifting lyrical snippets, and layers up on layers of phat, dusty bass to activate body and mind.
With a growing list of LA residencies — House of Blues Foundation Room, Area 33, Custom Hotel, Zanzibar –- The Loomer can be found rocking dance floors from Coachella to Electric Daisy Carnival, from Lightning in a Bottle to Burning Man. Remix tracks are now available on Beatport and iTunes from Teknical Funk and illeven:eleven recordings. An original LP is on the way.
In addition to producing and performing at events and festivals in the US and abroad, Loomer (aka David Loomstein) produces live events with partner Art Cruz as The Cruz Coalition.
